Day 1 : Martinez, CA to Bend, OR

We met up at Bill’s home at 9:00 AM to pack the truck and trailer. After packing and partaking of a celebratory pineapple upside-down cake, we were on the road by 11:15 AM heading north.
At 8:45 we rolled into Bend, had dinner at Red Dragons Chinese Restaurant, took a tour of Walmart, and setup camp in their parking lot.
Tomorrow we plan to get an early start for Eureka, MT.
